Book review : Groen Geluk / Urban Botanics
written by Maaike Koster & Emma Sibley, published by Fontaine Uitgever
genre plants & Illustration, 151 pages
It may sound a bit cheesy, but Maaike Koster is and has been one of my heroes for a long time. Not only am I totally in love with her house (this woman clearly got excellent interior design taste), on top of that her subdued but very pretty plants, animals and lately also abstract illustrations keep blowing me away!
So when her first book, containing so many of her wonderful green preciousness came out, I had to have it. And what makes this book even better is that it’s not just pretty images, we get background info and how to keep them alive tips & tricks about all the plants that are being featured. What else can one want? Not much, well maybe a bit of the fantastic interiors Maaike got both at home and in her shop, but as you guys know, I’m working on that!
