I can barely believe that 2019 is almost over! Just like Gretchen Rubin mentions in “The Happiness Project“; “the days are long, but the years are short!” This year really did go by within the blink of an eye. In this blogpost I’ll tell you what consumed much of my time this year.
This summer I have three weeks of holiday. And since we haven’t made any plans to go on vacation, I have lots of time to do ‘my thing’ at home. Finally I can tick off some things on my to-do list and one of them is to DIY new pillow cases.
The first birth announcement I ever designed was for a tiny baby girl called Coco. A few years have passed, Coco has grown into a cute little lady and last month she even became a big sister. When her parents asked me to design an announcement for Coco’s little brother too, I knew exactly what it should look like!
The cupola of the Bonnefanten Museum only gets a new artwork once every couple of years, so when one of your favourite contemporary artists turns it into something new, you got to go and experience it!
After weeks of working hard on this exciting new project, I’m very happy to finally be able to share it with you. I did have the honour to design & create a brand new website for my all time favourite visual artist; Leo Kornips.
The past weeks I had this nagging feeling that I needed to keep up with Morrie&Me but I’m not going to bother you with guilt or regret for not keeping up. As life goes, other things require your time, energy and attention and that’s perfectly fine!
Although there are many great books to read, every now and then I feel like rereading one of the books I’ve read before. Sometimes I really liked the story, sometimes the book was very inspiring, sometimes for no particular reason at all. READ MORE
When writing the post ‘2017 in a nutshell’, in which I look back at the milestones reached last year, Magnus’ birth announcements had just been send out and I promised that it wouldn’t take long before I’d share pictures of the end result with you as well.
At this second day of 2018, I’d like to take a brief moment to look back at the past year. A year that has kept me so busy, especially the second half of it, that I barely had the time and energy to keep up with Morrie&Me.
Than what has been keeping you so busy? You might wonder… Well this year has been all about 3 big milestones for me and I can hardly believe how much has happened these past few months!
When I first heard the 4 songs of The Bullet Rage EP, I totally got blown away. Having known most of the members of The Job for many years, I did have quite some expectations about their first EP, but it turned out to be even better than I’d expected. So when they asked me whether I’d like to design the cover and cd print for their EP, I couldn’t wait start working on the artwork.
